Course Projects

Some of my various course projects which include:

  • Preliminary design of ~12,000 lb light tactical aircraft for CAS and COIN missions
  • Conversion of Cirrus SR-22 to an optically piloted vehicle, focusing on flight computer programing
  • Performance modeling of Vans RV-7 in cruise, climb, and decent
  • Flight testing of Vans RV-7 and Cirrus SR-22 for PEC, stall, PIW-VIW, and neutral point
  • Wind tunnel testing in both low speed, water, and supersonic tunnels
  • Creating MATLAB panel codes for incompressible and supersonic airfoil analysis
  • Thermally perfect shock modeling for reentry
  • Drag build up on a Cirrus SR-22
  • Building dynamic models for aircraft simulation
  • Manufacturing in a production like environment
  • Preliminary systems engineering work on an imaging ballon
  • Additional lab work including work in propulsion and materials labs

Please reach out to me at ajay@parikh.aero if you want any to discuss any of these projects in more detail.
