- Conversion of Cirrus SR-22 to an optically piloted vehicle, focusing on flight computer programing
- Performance modeling of Vans RV-7 in cruise, climb, and decent
- Flight testing of Vans RV-7 and Cirrus SR-22 for PEC, stall, PIW-VIW, and neutral point
- Wind tunnel testing in both low speed, water, and supersonic tunnels
- Creating MATLAB panel codes for incompressible and supersonic airfoil analysis
- Thermally perfect shock modeling for reentry
- Drag build up on a Cirrus SR-22
- Building dynamic models for aircraft simulation
- Manufacturing in a production like environment
- Preliminary systems engineering work on an imaging ballon
- Additional lab work including work in propulsion and materials labs
